Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to St Nicholas CE Primary School. Here at St Nicholas we aim to provide the highest quality education to ensure the best outcomes for every individual child. We passionately believe that happy children make successful learners. Our Christian ethos underpins our work, helping to nurture your child on their journey through school.

We are a church school here to serve the whole community, everyone is welcome. We pride ourselves on our caring ethos and dedicated staff who ensure that the children in our care receive the very best start to their education, enabling them to become the best they can be.

St Nicholas has a long history serving the Wallingford community. For many decades St Nicholas saw children through the first part of their learning journey as an Infants’ School. In September 2026, the school moved to a brand-new purpose-built site and expanded its age-range to become a full Primary School.

We belong to the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust (ODST) as an academy school. ODST was founded in 2012 from a commitment to excellent education for academies in the Oxford Diocese. The Trust has now grown into a large family serving over 8000 pupils across over 40 schools located in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to make contact via the school office.
