Curriculum

 

The Purple Mash curriculum is designed to equip children with the skills and knowledge necessary to become digitally literate and responsible digital participants. It is structured to cover the National Curriculum objectives progressively, with a focus on computational thinking, creativity, and safe online practices. The curriculum includes a variety of units that cover coding, spreadsheets, internet and email, art and design, music, databases and graphing, writing and presenting, and communication and networks. Each unit is designed to build on the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of computational concepts and practical application of skills. The curriculum also emphasizes online safety, with lessons linked to the Google Be Internet Legends scheme.
